Happy Juneteenth! For this project, I brought together 7 talented artists from across the US to join forces and put together this animation to celebrate & commemorate our Black Independence Day.

For most of my creative career, I’ve been the sole black artist in the studio or agency, so it was incredibly rewarding to put this dream team together & create something for us & by us. With the current unrest in society & the recent spotlight on African Americans, it felt like a great opportunity for us to join forces & create something special for the upcoming holiday. There’s been a lot of talk lately about hiring more black creatives, I wanted to help create something special that demonstrates why.
